When you lose someone, little incidents take on a huge significance.
It does not matter whether you believe in their being more to life than we always see or not. They provide comfort .
There are two things you should know about me.
1. Although I love blogging and social media, I want to write in other ways and have various halfhearted attempts at a novel on my computer.
2. I love to go charity shopping.
Part of trying to get back into things after all that has happened in recent months includes returning to former joys.
So I started blogging again.
Then I visited the charity shop and could find nothing I wanted. This is most unusual.
Just as I turned the corner ready to leave the shop, I saw a pale blue box file displayed on a table.
It was a complete Creative Writing course from the Writers’ Bureau.
I paid £3.50 and accepted the little push in the right direction from Dad.
Mum died and her legacy was my blog.
Dad died and that novel will see the light of day.
Pic to follow.
