Losing Weight And A New Form Of Exercise

It is Monday so here is my little report on how the weight loss is going for me.

I have not got weighed as I refuse to be enslaved by the scales. I will get on them when it suits me which is not today.

I must start measuring again though. Isn’t it odd how Christmas disrupts things well into the New Year?

I have eaten healthily on the whole this week. Having good foods in the house is the key I think.

I have also exercised if you count a whole lot of digging the land as contributing to getting fit. It certainly helped me feel muscles in weird and wonderful places. I did not expect to enjoy it but I loved it. Wonderful to dig and then see just how much progress you are making. We have planted potatoes, carrots, parsnips and onions so far. Funnily enough, these are all healthy so will be contributing to my weight loss journey later in the year.

I am not quite into the swing of things on this journey as I was last year. However, the children are back to school today so I can concentrate on me for a while on this front as well as others.

    It really does take a while to get back into things again. I know how you feel as I feel like I have been feeling around in the dark since January for the answer to my lack of mental strength! Hopefully you can get back into it soon as I’m sure once you get back there, there will be no stopping you! x
