Can you remember that song called True Colours?
I thought about it this week as I reflected on Autumn leaves. Seasons change and along come vibrant colours of gold, red and orange. It turns out that these colours are always there and are merely masked by the green and yellow of chlorophyll and carotene.
It made me think about women and mums in particular and how somehow our true colours can get lost along the way.
So I am reviving the Striking Mums linky to remind us to celebrate those colours – our individual beauty, qualities and skills/talents. I also want to ensure we are taking time out for ourselves at least sometimes to do what we want to do.
Our true colours matter.
So my question for you this week is how are you going to inject colour into your life? I would love you to use that as a blog prompt and to link up your posts. As ever, Striking Mums is your flexible friend and so long as your blog post is about how you are celebrating you or carving out time for yourself, feel free to link up. Let’s support each other whatever shade we are.
I look forward to seeing your true colours.
