Fancy a Blueberry Smoothie with Banana and Sun-Pat® Peanut Butter? I have a lovely recipe for you. Before you get blending let’s look at the health and lifestyle benefits of smoothies.
It’s a fun way of increasing your family’s intake of fruit especially if you have fussy eaters.
You can make it the night before and store in the fridge which is ideal for those busy mornings where you have a school run a commute to work or both.
Alternatively you can prepare all the ingredients the night before and have the in the fridge ready to blitz in the morning.
There are so many options which make great smoothies so you can have fun learning about new fruits and experimenting.
You could also try adding some wholegrain cereal to your smoothie for extra fibre.
Now back to my smoothie recipe of the day.
Blueberry, Banana and Sun-Pat® Peanut Butter Smoothie
2 heaped tbsp Sun-Pat® Smooth Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Greek Yoghurt
1 tbsp Gales® Clear Honey
400ml Whole Milk
1. Break up the banana up into a blender jug.
2. Add the Sun-Pat® Peanut Butter, blueberries, Gales® Honey, yoghurt and milk.
3. Blend until smooth.
