My 5 ways to get your groove back can transform you life. That’s a big claim but I know from my own experience and from other readers that you can change your life for the better right here, right now.
I have done it and lived to tell the tale. Does that mean my life is perfect? Of course not but it is so much better than it used to be and I enjoy life and am putting my dreams into place on baby step at a time
As a mum, have you lost a sense of self? Feel way older than you actually are? Wish you were not just labelled as a “housewife” or whatever but actually were valued for what you contribute to the world?
So what are the top 5 ways to get your groove back?
You have to be proactive if you want to change your life. Nobody is going to do it for you although as you start to make changes, many will respond positively and support you.
Find your kindred spirits
If you feel a bit down at heel and knackered, you are so not alone so you already have a team of ready-made kindred spirits out there. You just need to find them.
Accept less than perfect progress
Sometimes it will be a case of two steps forward and one step back. That is OK. You are still moving in the right direction and this is not a race to the finish line.
Stop hiding away
It is probably healthier to say when you are struggling than to hide under the duvet or scuttle off after the nursery and school run.
Life and shit happens
Life events may throw up some painful curveballs. That is just the way of things. You can still move forwards.
