Charity shopping is one of my greatest pleasures.
I used to blog about my bargain finds but don’t seem to have done so recently.
So here for your delectation are some recent things that add a little something to my home.
I like this little duckling. Makes me think of Spring especially with the addition of the umbrella which really sums up our weather so far. 50 pence.
I bought this little chap for my husband at first thinking he was holding a gun. It’s actually a flute so much more wonderful. £1.50.
I have had a thing about Russian dolls ever since my uncle bought me one when I was a child. At £3.50, I may have paid too much for this one but she was screaming at me to take her home. She has Snow White and the Seven Dwarves painted on her too.
I have looked for a few weeks for something to display an artificial red rose in after buying it on the insistence of my son for my husband for Valentine’s Day. I don’t know why this little thing appeals to me but it does. £1.50.
I don’t know what things are like in your house but my pens go missing far too frequently. So I picked up this little box to hide them in for 50 pence.
Finally, here are my Lurpak collectibles. I have always fancied some but have seen them marked with ridiculous prices. These were just £1 each. The lady behind the counter said she had fancied them so it looks like I got them just in the nick of time.
I am linking up with the lovely Liz for Magpie Monday over at http://meandmyshadow.blogspot.com where people celebrate all things bargain-hunting.
