I can see I am going to have to be disciplined to post on the Project 365 linky as it is not open for long.
I have enjoyed taking photos every day although sometimes do remember the challenge rather late in the day. I guess it becomes a habit soon enough.
I have looked for the unusual looking up and down so that I don’t miss anything quirky.
This week saw the back to school when good parents do the ironing.
House organisation continued and I moved a bookshelf to a more practical location. Yes, the books do suggest that I am constantly searching for answers.
All that work meant a little charity shopping was in order. There are some lovely dresses in here new with tags no less. Hidden in case I want one of them to be on show at a blogging event.
That trip to the charity shop always takes me past this building. I dream of working there as it always looks so lively and professional in the foyer. Actually, it is not that I want to work there – it just reminds me of the buzz of an office environment and popping out for a sandwich at lunchtime and all those employed rituals. It is quite a relevant building to anyone with an interest in news but it is in disguise in this picture.
Part of my decluttering has involved taking photos of some of my children’s artwork as there is so much of it. I love this one that my daughter did after a visit to London.
Finally, in my usual disorganised fashion, I forgot to light the candle at Christmas so here it is now giving a special glow to our evening. Minnie Mouse was part of my late Mums’s collection of things Disney. The clock was my late father’s and reminds me of special moments in his annex when we lived together. I miss those times. Finally, the little glass jug that says “Cornish Cider Farm” on it, another charity shop find that made me think of @DownsSideup so I had to have it.
So there you have it – my week in pictures.
