I am really pleased with how well I can do on the healthy eating front when I am at home.
Last week, things went a bit awry as I went away from home. I don’t have strategies for that yet so need to come up with some quick.
It was an odd mix with healthy eating until Tuesday. On Wednesday, I ate to distract myself from a forthcoming event. On Thursday, I ended up skipping meals without realising it as I was so excited about things. Oh yes, Kate is one emotional eater.
So here we are on Monday where I can start all over again. I don’t beat myself up now for blips, I just get back to it come Monday. I think that is a lot healthier over all.
What I love is how losing a bit of weight has made me believe in myself more. It means I also invest in myself more than I did.
So today, I am negotiating with a dressmaker about one and possibly two dresses – one for my college reunion and one for Britmums Live. It feels good to not want to get measured yet as there is further weight loss to come.
