My fitness goals for 2022 are the same as they always are – to go to the gym 150 times in total. I’m also working on deadlifts and trying to get up to 70kg which was what I could lift pre-pandemic, but haven’t been able to manage since then. And just to keep trying new things and enjoying my fitness journey.

I started 2022 determined to change my lifestyle so that I could lose weight. Hubby and I decided we would do a virtual Land’s End to John O’Groats walk using an app to track our progress. So far we have completed almost 70% of the walk (we’re approaching Glasgow) and using this app to encourage us to walk a lot, plus a food tracking app to record what I eat each day, so far I’m 1lb off losing a stone and I’m feeling so much better. So my goals for the rest of the year are to complete my virtual walk and continue with the healthy eating and exercise!
