If you live in an area where there are a lot of colleges and universities, then there may be a lot of choices to pick from. You usually need one that lasts for 35 hours or so so that you can take the test to get certified. It doesn’t hurt to ask around, especially if you live near walking or driving distance from some.

The Internet has been a great place to find nearly anything. Online schooling has been a thing for quite a while, well before a certain pandemic hit. There are universities solely online and many of them are accredited.

You can also use the Internet to do research on these programs to see what people are saying about them. There may also be sites devoted to ranking them, so it’s definitely well worth your time to do a search.

The certification exam itself costs nearly $600, but you can lower that by joining the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a member, though that costs nearly $140. You do get more resources through that, but you do not have to be a PMI member to be able to take the test.
