Inspirational colours of the Fall and Winter Seasons Fashion for Women
The colours of clothes can clearly define a season, in terms of society’s mood. When all you see around the streets are people wearing black, it can be a little depressing. And when fashion decides to go back to fluorescent colours, well… let’s just say that in the end, we can’t wait for the season to move on to something that hurts our eyes a little less. Lucky us, this fall, the colours will come and soothe our eyes.
A Conservative Fall and Winter Season
Everyone should feel at ease for the next few months. That is because the colours of the clothes that will be all around us will tend to be much more conservative. We see it clearly in women’s coats, where navy blue and beige tend to play a large part. We find various declinations of brown in many of them, most of them in lighter shades, such as camel, and vanilla latte. Those who want to shine without being flashy can happily do so in a Manila jacket by Vanessa Bruno and those who prefer the classics, will be happy in an elegant wool coat. These various tones adapt perfectly to the faux fur of the season, especially to a shearling jacket. With conservative coats moving around the city, we can hope that everyone will feel more relaxed, as they go about their business.
The Return of Gray
Gray is the colour that lets you create so many different styles, but always in good taste. It is no surprise that it joins the rest of the conservative colours that we already talked about, with beige and navy blue at the forefront. It will be particularly popular with women’s suits this year. Nothing like a gray pair of pants with the veste to go along, to provide that sensation of a woman who knows what she is doing and where she is going. The nice thing about it is that you will find them in various shades of gray, from light to dark. And so, you can decide on which face you want to show on a given day. For the power girl, go lighter and for the fashion one, darker.
Off White is On
Last spring and summer collections featured a lot of head to toe white clothes. This fall and winter, designers are going a little lighter on the eyes, by bringing back off white to the fashion scene. There aren’t so many romantic colours as off white is. It brings with it, softness and tenderness. It will be especially popular on tops and pants. Of course, you will be able to get the matching shoes that go along with them. Look for something simple to wear with it. A nice pair of blue jeans will do the trick. There is no doubt that fashion wants to take us away from the difficulty of the war that has been going on throughout the year, and other difficulties that come along with it. And why not? We do deserve a little bit of peace in our time.
